Ежегодная конференция, посвященная актуальным детским инфекциям, прошла в Нижнем Новгороде
On March 25–26, 2026, the 14th Interregional Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference "Selected Topics in Infectious Pathology in Children" was held in Nizhny Novgorod.
The conference's main topics included epidemiological surveillance and the social significance of infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable infections, prevention of antimicrobial resistance, and modern aspects of infectious disease diagnostics.
Staff from the I.N. Blokhina Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor actively participated in the conference, presenting scientific papers and presentations on the topic.
The main results of our institute's research were presented in the section "Evolution of the Epidemiological Process of Current Infectious Diseases in Children: Science and Practice," which took place on March 26.
A total of 1,114 specialists (442 in person and 672 remotely) in infectious diseases, pediatrics, epidemiology, microbiology, virology, bacteriology, gastroenterology, and related fields from many regions of Russia, from the Arkhangelsk Region to the Urals, participated in the conference, as well as undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Molecular Biology and Immunology from the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. Twenty-six papers were presented.
