14th Scientific and Practical Conference "Selected Issues of Infectious Pathology in Children"
On March 25–26, 2026, the 14th interregional interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference “Selected Issues of Infectious Pathology in Children” was held in Nizhny Novgorod.
The conference's main topics included epidemiological surveillance and the social significance of infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable infections, antimicrobial resistance prevention, and modern aspects of infectious disease diagnostics.
Institute staff actively participated in the conference, presenting scientific papers and presentations during the discussion of thematic topics.
The main results of our institute's research were presented during the section "Evolution of the Epidemiological Process of Current Infectious Diseases in Children: Science and Practice," which took place on March 26.
A total of 1,114 specialists (442 in person and 672 remotely) in infectious diseases, pediatrics, epidemiology, microbiology, virology, bacteriology, gastroenterology, and related fields from many regions of Russia, from the Arkhangelsk Region to the Urals, as well as undergraduate and graduate students from the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. Lobachevsky in the field of "Molecular Biology and Immunology." 26 reports were presented.
