Honorary Citizen of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Director of the Institute from 1955 to 1999, Irina Nikolaevna Blokhina
In honor of the 100th anniversary of her birth:
- Opening of a memorial plaque on the building of the institute
- Opening of the monument (bust) of Irina Nikolaevna
