On June 4, 2025, the Joint Dissertation Council of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kazan State Medical University" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Primary Medical University" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation held the defense of the dissertation "Comprehensive characteristics of the epidemic process of hepatitis C and approaches to improving epidemiological surveillance" by a research fellow of the Institute Anna Dmitrievna Kashnikova for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in the specialty "epidemiology".
