The creator of the model was Nikolai Aleksandrovich Semashko, the first People's Commissar of Health of the Soviet Union.

December 15-16, 2021 A scientific seminar on molecular epidemiology of enterovirus infection and molecular diagnostics of topical infections was held for specialists from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The seminar was held online. The event was attended by 45 specialists, including 25 employees of the FBUN NNIIEM them. academician I.N. Blokhina of Rospotrebnadzor and 20 Vietnamese specialists: employees of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (Head Department of the Tropic Center, Hanoi), the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (Hanoi), the National Children's Hospital (Hanoi), the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang, the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, South branch of the Tropic Center (Ho Chi Minh City).

At the seminar, the staff of our institute made 6 reports (2 reports - lectures). The results of joint scientific research for the period 2017-2021 were discussed. and prospects for further cooperation FBUN NNIIEM them. academician I.N. Blokhina of Rospotrebnadzor with institutions of science and healthcare of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Based on the results of the workshop, the participants expressed mutual interest in continuing joint research on the problem of enterovirus infections and developing scientific cooperation in other areas relevant to NRW: community-acquired pneumonia and antibiotic resistance, hepatitis E, development of vaccine preparations, etc.; advanced training of Vietnamese specialists. The development of the designated areas of cooperation will contribute to the solution of urgent tasks to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population of Vietnam and the biological safety of the Russian Federation and Vietnam. In general, the participants noted the scientific and practical significance and relevance of the materials presented at the seminar, the high level of professionalism of the speakers, the clear and high-quality organization of the seminar.
