On March 8, International Women's Day, on the facade of the main tower of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin - Dmitrievskaya - a colorful audiovisual greeting was broadcast - video mapping. The basis was formed by the images of prominent Nizhny Novgorod women - Irina Nikolaevna Blokhina, an outstanding Soviet and Russian physician; Nadezhda Prokofievna Suslova, physiologist, surgeon, gynecologist, the first Russian woman to become a doctor of medicine; Nadezhda Petrovna Lamanova, the first Russian and Soviet fashion designer, theater costume designer; Maria Tikhonovna Grekhova, physicist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, director of the country's first radio-physical institute.
These women, united by the strength of their talent, character and faith in their work, made a significant contribution to the development of our country and left a mark on science, healthcare, culture and art. The fair sex representatives still bring light, make discoveries, head laboratories and charitable foundations, and change the world around for the better.
