Its uniqueness lay in the unified principles of organization and centralization of all healthcare, and the key role was played by free of charge, accessibility and qualification. The creator of the model was Nikolai Aleksandrovich Semashko, the first People's Commissar of Health of the Soviet Union.
World AIDS Day

3rd year students of the direction “Applied Aesthetics” got acquainted with the work of the Institute in general, achievements and promising research in the field of molecular microbiology.

On May 23, 2024, a meeting was held at the Institute with 3rd year students of the “Applied Aesthetics” direction of the Nizhny Novgorod College of Small Business. The meeting was held in the format of the “Open Doors to Science” project, which is part of the “Science is Nearby” initiative as part of the implementation of the activities of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the Declaration of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation.” The children went on an excursion to the microbiology laboratory, where they learned about the work, achievements and promising research of the Institute in terms of the development of molecular microbiology.
Future specialists in the field of cosmetology and manicure were provided with information about the importance of asepsis and antisepsis, the main characteristics of current microorganisms, and the rules for disinfecting hands and instruments. The guys talked with leading microbiologists of the Institute and asked questions that interested them.
