Its uniqueness lay in the unified principles of organization and centralization of all healthcare, and the key role was played by free of charge, accessibility and qualification. The creator of the model was Nikolai Aleksandrovich Semashko, the first People's Commissar of Health of the Soviet Union.
World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day, declared in 1988, was the first internationally recognized day dedicated to health protection. Its purpose is to raise global awareness of HIV/AIDS, provide support to people living with HIV, and unite efforts to combat the spread of this disease.

The ceremonial meeting was held on September 17, 2024 at the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The distinguished employees of our institute were awarded the Certificate of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region for scientific achievements, practical assistance in the anti-epidemic protection of the population, and also in connection with the celebration of the 102nd anniversary of the formation of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Russia. The awards were presented by the head of the Office, Natalya Sergeevna Kucherenko. In addition, for passing sports standards, the employees of the institute were awarded the GTO badges of distinction.
