How to raise a healthy generation?

On May 16, the annual regional scientific and practical conference “Raising a Healthy Generation” was held at the Nizhny Novgorod Institute for Education Development.

The event was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Institute for Education Development (NIRO). Our Institute cooperates with NIRO on an ongoing basis, taking part in training teachers of Nizhny Novgorod and the region. The topics of the classes are preventive work with students, the formation of a health culture of the younger generation, the implementation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organizations working with children, as well as maintaining and strengthening the health of the teaching staff themselves.
The goals of the conference were: discussing modern approaches to the formation of a healthy eating culture, implementing the federal programs "Conversation about Proper Nutrition" and "We are Your Friends", as well as exchanging experiences in the field of health-forming practices in the educational environment.
The conference was attended by teachers, educators, deputy heads of educational work, specialists from the education authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Head of the Volga District Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, PhD, Associate Professor Kuzovatova E.E. took part in the conference and was a member of the jury of the family photo competition held within the framework of the federal program “We are your friends”.
