An institute employee held a preventative talk on the topic of influenza and how to prevent it.

30  10.2025 On October 30, 2025, the head of the infectious disease physician at the Volga District Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, PhD, Associate Professor E.E. Kuzovatova, held a discussion on the prevention of influenza and respiratory viral infections with representatives of the older generation.

At a meeting of the Healthy Lifestyle Club at the A.P. Chekhov Library in Nizhny Novgorod, E.E. Kuzovatova spoke about measures to prevent respiratory infections, which is especially important for older adults. Participants were surveyed about their attitudes toward vaccinations and were provided with information about the benefits of timely vaccination.

Attendees learned the rules for putting on, wearing, removing, and disposing of masks, and each completed a practical exercise on putting on and removing a medical mask.

Fifteen people participated in the session.
