An institute employee held a seminar on preventing the spread of seasonal infections.

On April 29, 2026, E.E. Kuzovatova, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Volga District Center for AIDS Prevention and Control at the Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Academician I.N. Blokhina, held an online seminar with teachers from schools and technical colleges in Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region on organizing preventive measures to prevent the spread of seasonal infections. Twenty-one people attended the seminar.

E.E. Kuzovatova discussed sanitary, hygienic, and anti-epidemic requirements in educational institutions, introduced the audience to regulatory documents governing measures to ensure epidemiological safety, and discussed activities to be undertaken during periods of epidemic surges. The teaching staff emphasized the need for staff and students to adhere to sanitary and hygienic rules, personal hygiene, and a healthy lifestyle. Systematic organizational and health education efforts are essential.
