April 26-27, 2021 The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Epidemiological Surveillance of Actual Infections: New Threats and Challenges" was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician IN Blokhina.

In total, 923 registered specialists from the bodies and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Sciences and other organizations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as specialists from foreign countries: Sweden, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Donetsk People's Republic, Norway took part in the conference. 397 institutions and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, RAS, FMBA from 92 cities of Russia were represented.

At the conference, 4 sessions were held, at which 43 reports were heard, 2 reports were presented in the format of posters. 10 scientific institutions of Rospotrebnadzor, 4 medical universities of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, 2 scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 1 scientific institution of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, 3 scientific institutions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam took part in the presentation of the reports.

The conference, in general, was multidisciplinary in nature, which was reflected in topic of reports.

Within the framework of the conference, a competition for reports of young scientists was held, which took place on April 27. A total of 21 reports were presented.
