On the occasion of the Children's Day, the trade union committee of the institute organized a visit to the library named after GI Uspensky, where the guys took part in the folklore game program "Nizhny Novgorod miracles". The event was held on June 5, 2019.

The program began right at the entrance to the library: in order to go inside, participants had to guess Russian riddles, and beyond the threshold they were waited for by an exhibition-acquaintance “The Covenants of Good Old Times”.

"If the old Russian life
You have forgotten a little, -
We renew your memory -
Let's get closer to him" !!

With these words, the presenters welcomed the young participants of the program and the adults who came with them.

In the course of the funny performance, children got acquainted with the folk traditions of our region, participated in funny contests and games, guessed who the cook was, what a tub and a merry woman was. All together recalled Nizhny Novgorod proverbs and sayings, dressed up the doll in old national clothes.

Both children and adults were happy to take part in contests - it was necessary to guess medicinal herbs by smell, and to touch the cereals from which traditional Russian dishes were prepared.

Guys and folk instruments were considered with great interest: whistles, rattles, spoons - which then all together played the Russian folk song “Oh, you canopy, my halls,” and the most active even started dancing!

The game store has ended with a merry round dance "Fight, Fight, Cabbage!"

At the end of the festive program for children, a master class on making a painted toy from an ordinary donut took place.

Everybody was happy - both children and parents!
