Day of Remembrance and Sorrow
22  06.2021
Today, June 22, Russia celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.

Exactly 80 years ago, at dawn on June 22, 1941, without declaring war, fascist Germany attacked the Soviet Union. The Great Patriotic War began, which lasted 1418 days and nights. She brought a lot of troubles and suffering to our people, taking tens of millions of lives.

Decades later, we grieve and pay tribute to immeasurable respect and memory to those who went through all the hardships and hardships of the Great Patriotic War, who died but did not give up, who performed a military and labor feat for the sake of a peaceful future of their descendants.

We bow deeply to all veterans who fought on the battlefields, people who selflessly worked in the rear. Low bow to you for your feat, for a clear sky, for a peaceful life. Eternal glory to the heroes who fell in battles for the Motherland! We are indebted to everyone who defended the freedom and independence of the Motherland at the cost of their lives. From the bottom of our hearts we wish our dear veterans, all Russians, health, family happiness, prosperity, kindness and a peaceful sky overhead!
