The forum was devoted to current aspects of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. The Institute was one of the organizers of this event.

On June 19-21, 2024, the Volga Federal District Preventive Medicine Forum was held in Nizhny Novgorod. A number of significant events were held within the Forum:

June 19, 2024 - II District Scientific and Practical Conference "Practical Aspects of Epidemiological Surveillance and Control of Current Infectious Diseases" (hereinafter referred to as the Conference).

June 20, 2024 - Round table of the chief freelance epidemiologists of the Volga Federal District and master classes on the use of stakeholder management tools in the activities of a hospital epidemiologist and the fundamental aspects of working with a central venous catheter.

June 21, 2024 - Meeting of the Journal Club with a presentation of student research and projects in the field of infectious disease prevention.

The Institute's employees took an active part in the Forum. The Conference featured 9 reports on the results of various studies and developments conducted in the Institute's scientific laboratories. The Director of the Institution, Doctor of Medical Sciences N.N. Zaitseva chaired the plenary session of the Forum.
