The creator of the model was Nikolai Aleksandrovich Semashko, the first People's Commissar of Health of the Soviet Union.

Practical health care specialists undergo training at the Institute

On August 22, 2024, Maria Aleksandrovna Makhova, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Metagenomics and Molecular Indication of Pathogens, PhD in Biology, conducted training for mid-level specialists in the pediatric department of the Kstovskaya Central Regional Hospital on the correct sampling of biological substrates in children for PCR detection of bacterial and viral pathogens of respiratory infections.

The training course was based on the current regulatory documents of the Russian Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor, in particular: SanPiN 3.3686-21; MU 3.1.2 / 4.2 3373-23 "Epidemiological surveillance of community-acquired pneumonia"; MR 3.1.0222-2020 "Molecular diagnostics of infections caused by bacteria of the genus Mycoplasma in children", VMR "Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Versions 16 (dated 08/18/2022) and 18 (dated 10/26/2023). The specialists were provided with information on the rules for the selection, storage and transportation of biological substrates to the laboratory. Particular attention was paid to the issue of compliance with the rules for performing the preanalytical stage of molecular genetic research in order to obtain reliable results in establishing the etiological factor of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory organs.
