On March 5–6, 2025, the 13th interregional interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference “Selected Issues of Infectious Pathology in Children” was held in Nizhny Novgorod.

On March 5–6, 2025, the 13th interregional interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference “Selected Issues of Infectious Pathology in Children” was held in Nizhny Novgorod.

The main areas of the conference were: epidemiological surveillance and social significance of infectious diseases, problems of vaccine-preventable infections, prevention of antimicrobial resistance, modern approaches to the prevention of HAI, modern aspects of diagnostics of infectious diseases, etc.

The institute's employees took an active part in the conference, presenting scientific reports and speeches as part of the discussion of thematic issues.

On March 6, the section "Evolution of the epidemic process of current infectious diseases in children: science and practice" was held, at which the institute's employees highlighted the main results of scientific research conducted in the scientific departments of the institution.

As part of the section, a competition of scientific reports of young scientists was held.

A total of 709 specialists (279 in person and 430 in absentia) in the field of pediatrics, infectious diseases, epidemiology, phthisiology, bacteriology, virology, gastroenterology and related specialties took part in the conference. 41 reports were heard.
