The patent "Method for the simultaneous detection of lymphotropic herpesviruses HHV6A, HHV6B, EBV and its main genotypes EBV-1 and EBV-2" was awarded a first-degree diploma in the nomination "Technologies for Life and Health".

On April 25, 2025, the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (KUPNO) summed up the results of the Competition of Intellectual Property Objects for the I.P. Kulibin Nizhny Novgorod Region Prize for 2024.

Our institute was represented at the Competition by employees of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Utkin O.V., Popkova M.I., Bryzgalova D.A. and Sakharnov N.A. Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2805956 "Method for the simultaneous detection of lymphotropic herpesviruses HHV6A, HHV6B, VEB and its main genotypes VEB-1 and VEB-2" was awarded the first prize in the special nomination "Technologies for Life and Health". The method developed by the authors of the patent allows for accelerated diagnostics of current infectious diseases.

The diploma signed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Cherkasov M.V. and the commemorative sign were accepted by the head of the study, head of the laboratory, PhD in Biology Utkin O.V.
