The authors of the monograph are employees of the Laboratory of Metagenomics and Molecular Indication of Pathogens of the I.N. Blokhina Novosibirsk Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing.

This monograph presents an analysis of current literature data and the results of our own research on the problem of antibiotic resistance in urogenital mycoplasmas. It presents data from long-term monitoring of their resistance, characterizes the main molecular mechanisms of resistance development, describes the features of genome structure, and pays special attention to multilocus typing of Mycoplasma hominis strains.
This publication is intended for specialists from Rospotrebnadzor agencies and organizations, obstetricians and gynecologists, clinical diagnostic specialists, bacteriologists, epidemiologists, and faculty and students of medical and biological universities.
The monograph is published in print and electronic format.
