Results of the XI Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor

On October 2-4, 2019, the XI Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor “Modern Problems of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Hygiene” was held.

The conference was attended by about 80 young scientists and specialists of bodies and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor, scientific and other organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Health of Russia from 20 regions of the Russian Federation
Young scientists acted as moderators of the meetings and members of the competitive commission for the selection of the best reports. The conference program was structured in such a way that, within the framework of one meeting, it was possible to hear the reports of scientists and practitioners on topical issues through the prism of hygiene, epidemiology or microbiology.
In the framework of the competition for the best report of a young scientist, 55 reports were presented and discussed on topical issues of improving measures to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population under the influence of environmental and industrial factors.
According to the results of the competition "The Best Work of a Young Scientist" of the XI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor "Modern Problems of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Hygiene", 6 works were noted.
Our Institute at the conference was presented by a senior scientist, candidate of biological sciences Sashina Tatyana Aleksandrovna with the report "Methodology for the genome-wide typing of rotavirus A for the molecular characterization of strains and identification of reassorted variants." According to the results of the competition, the report of Tatyana Alexandrovna won the third prize.
Chairman of the SMU NNIIEM, Senior Researcher, Ph.D. Filatova Elena Nikolaevna took part in a meeting of the Bureau of SMUiS of Rospotrebnadzor and a meeting of SMUiS of Rospotrebnadzor, held as part of the conference.
