On February 8, 2024, during a meeting of the SMU NNIIEM, a new chairman of the Council was elected.

Two young scientists applied for the position of chairman of the SMU NNIIEM: junior researcher. Novoselova Anastasia Aleksandrovna and laboratory assistant Korneva Alena Andreevna.

The junior researcher was elected chairman by a majority of votes. Novoselova Anastasia Alexandrovna.

13 Council members were present.
