Svetlana Vitalievna Oparina was awarded a III degree diploma for her poster presentation at the 77th All-Russian school-conference of young scientists with international participation “Biosystems: organization, behavior, management.”

On April 15–19, 2024, the 77th All-Russian school-conference of young scientists “Biosystems: organization, behavior, management” with international participation was held in Nizhny Novgorod. This year, the Conference was attended by 420 young scientists representing 112 universities and research centers from 44 cities of Russia and countries near and far abroad, including the Republic of Belarus, Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, People's Republic of China. Scientists from leading scientific centers gave review lectures at the Conference on current trends in the development of promising areas of biology.
Within the framework of the conference, a competition of scientific works of young scientists was held. Oparina Svetlana Vitalievna, junior researcher Laboratory of Molecular Epidemiology of Viral Infections of the Institute, gave a poster presentation in the “Molecular Biology” section on the topic “Analysis of noroviruses carrying the GII.P31 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase gene.” Velikzhanina Elena Igorevna, junior researcher Laboratory of Molecular Epidemiology of Viral Infections, presented a report on the topic “Genetic heterogeneity of reassortant Rotavirus A genotype G3P[8].”

Based on the results of the Competition, the work of Oparina S.V. took third place, and the report of Velikzhanina E.I. awarded by the competition commission for its high scientific level.
