Institute staff took part in the All-Russian minute of silence
22  06.2020
The memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War was honored with a minute of silence as part of the all-Russian action, which took place in all regions of the country. The whole country bowed its head in memory of those who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and did not return, who died in captivity and were tortured in concentration camps, who stood to the last.

Memorial and Sorrow Day is annually celebrated in Russia on June 22. In 2020, the government set a common time for holding the all-Russian minute of silence throughout the country - 12.15 Moscow time. Starting this year, a minute of silence dedicated to the start of World War II was officially established in Russia.
This time was not chosen by chance. 12 hours 15 minutes June 22, 1941 - the broadcast time of an appeal to Soviet citizens about Nazi Germany’s attack on the Soviet Union.

If a minute of silence were announced for every Soviet person who died during the war, the world would be silent for more than 50 years.

Employees of the laboratories and clinics of the institute took part in the all-Russian action, paying tribute to all the heroes.
